Mari Dugas is a proud Colorado native, now residing in Boston. She received her BA with honors in Political Science and Russian Area Studies from Wellesley College in 2016 and now works at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center. After beginning to learn Russian at Wellesley, she studied abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia, and worked in Kiev, Ukraine. She has experience working with a range of Russian-area experts on topics relating to military affairs, domestic identity and historical memory politics, and energy politics. In her spare time, she can be found reading, running, attempting overly ambitious baking projects, or planning her next trip abroad.
